I walked into FXB on a whim in October 2019. I knew I needed something to keep me active and hold me accountable - a regular gym membership wouldnt cut it, and a personal trainer was just too expensive. My why is long and complicated, but I have learned when life throws you curveballs and bad things happen, its easy to go from having an identity to being a sad story. I didnt want to be a sad story, because my story is so much more than sad. I was hooked immediately after my first trial class. Dont get me wrong, I was TERRIBLE. But I was having fun. And bonus - I made friendships with the most amazing, supportive people. I had just moved to the area earlier in the year and wasnt having luck meeting anyone. I even had my house on the market with every intention of moving back to my hometown to be closer to my family. I grasped onto the program day one, ran with it - and havent looked back. Spoiler alert: I took my house off the market. I am a mom of three; as well as a manager, an instructor and a coach here at FXB. Motivating and inspiring others has always been my jam, and now I get to do it every day in the best possible way.
